[서울=RNX뉴스] 박진우 기자 = Apple Says Disinfectant Wipes Can Be Used to Clean Its Products.

As cases of coronavirus continue to mount around the world, Apple is updating its guidelines for how you can keep your iPhone, iPad and Mac computer clean.

"Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces.", Apple, via website

The company adds that bleach should not be used.

"Submerging" your device in cleaning items is not recommended as well.

According to Engadget, do not use paper towels as they can damage a device's surface.

Instead, clean your item with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

If you do not have a cloth, a clean t-shirt will do the trick.
