The fifth Democratic presidential debate took place Wednesday at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.

Here are some of the most memorable moments from the night.

1. Criticism of Trump - Senator Kamala Harris called Trump “the greatest threat to the national security of the United States.”

2. Metaphoric Blunders - Former VP Joe Biden used an inopportune metaphor in addressing the culture of violence against women, saying we must "keep punching" at it.

3. Attacks on Fellow Candidates - Senator Cory Booker responded to Mr. Biden's opposition to legalizing marijuana with, “I thought you might have been high when you said it.”

4. On Foreign Leaders - Mr. Biden called Kim Jong Un a "thug" after being called a "rabid dog." Senator Bernie Sanders added, "Other than that, you like him."

5. "Women are Held to Higher Standard" - Senator Amy Klobuchar said a woman with Mayor Pete Buttigieg's resume would not be on stage, emphasizing that women have to work harder.

The next Democratic debate will take place on December 19 at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in Los Angeles.
